Santa Mónica beer shone at the 2021 Aurora International Taste Challenge.

After the success of Santa Mónica at the 2021 Aurora International Taste Challenge, we asked the co-founder of Santa Mónica, David Martinez a few questions.

 Please tell us when your company was founded and some of its history?

Santa Mónica was born from a father and a son’s dream to start a project together with enthusiasm and affection.

The name of Santa Monica comes from the union between mother and woman that we both share.

The secret formula came from master brewers from the Aranda del Duero region and ingredients selected from the best qualities from sustainable crops.

The label refers to the small details that make our beer unique. The upper part of the label and the profile that surrounds the barcode symbolize the entrance to the Santa Monica, California pier. At the center are our legacy and the personal and brewing experience that together we would like to share with the world.

What are some of the unique features of your company?

The core differentiation from other manufacturers is that we maintain familiarity within the company. Many brewers become great and forget their roots. We work for the love of the product, and we attach great importance to quality and treatment.

Jose Antonio, the CEO of Santa Mónica, frequently visits customers to receive feedback from customers. We believe that the street is the best teacher. Companies that embrace their employees and the needs of clients are the ones that will be able to adapt and survive.

What do you think are some of the unique products you have? 

We defend natural products and all food that requires the minimum possible industrial process.

When we think about drinks and beverages, the more processed, the more we move away from our roots as human species, and the less real is the texture and aroma of what we are consuming. Our beer is natural, without filtering or pasteurizing.

We are very proud to work with raw materials from our land grown in local crops. Within product development, the truth is that we have a long way to go. We have projects to start pioneer beers, but we are perfectionists, and this process takes us forever to develop.

In which countries can your products be found?

Currently, our beer is available in Madrid, Spain. We are working to be available soon in Dubai and Shanghai.
